# 3. Duration of Play & Curriculum Planning

*   Nine sports and entertainment options are available to play:  Basketball, 
Football, Baseball, Soccer, Hockey, Cricket, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts,
Wrestling.  Students choose their preference inside the simulation. Note that the latter three options ("combat sports") have slightly different presentation due to the nature of those businesses.
    
*   The simulation can be completed over multiple sessions on any schedule. Estimated completion time is 2–3 hours when the _Strategy Journal_ is required, or approximately 1 hour without it.
      
*   Consider playing the simulation multiple times to give students opportunities to enhance their learning and improve their performance. Repetition is very effective with simulation-based learning. Always create a new Group for each simulation.
    
*   _Book_ with _glossary_ provides additional learning as does the _Student Experience Report_.
